An established dental practice serving the Oregon market is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Dental Hygienist for a full-time opportunity. The successful candidate will join a collaborative clinical team focused on prevention, patient education, periodontal health, and a consistently positive patient experience.

Position Details

  • Employment Status: Full-Time
  • Compensation: $55–$60 per hour
  • Schedule: Four days per week, eight hours per day
  • Experience: New graduates welcome
  • Provider Team: 2 dentists
  • Hygiene Team: 3 hygienists

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program and an active Oregon dental hygiene license, or be eligible to obtain licensure. Current BLS/CPR certification, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to high-quality, ethical, patient-centered care are expected. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments, prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and preventive services within the scope of state law.
  • Take and evaluate diagnostic radiographs and accurately document clinical findings and treatment.
  • Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, periodontal health, home care, and recommended preventive treatment.
  • Collaborate closely with dentists and the clinical team to coordinate treatment and support continuity of care.
  • Maintain applicable infection-control, OSHA, HIPAA, and bloodborne-pathogen standards.
