An established dental practice serving the New Mexico market is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Dental Hygienist for a full-time opportunity. The successful candidate will join a collaborative clinical team focused on prevention, patient education, periodontal health, and providing a consistently positive patient experience.

Position Details
- Employment Status: Full-Time
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with every other Monday and Friday off
- Experience: New graduates welcome
- Compensation: 30% of adjusted collections, with a guaranteed minimum of $45 per hour
- Provider Team: 1 dentist
- Hygiene Team: 2 hygienists
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program and an active New Mexico dental hygiene license, or be eligible to obtain licensure. Current BLS/CPR certification, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to high-quality, ethical, patient-centered care are expected. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments, prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and preventive services within the scope of state law.
- Take and evaluate diagnostic radiographs and accurately document clinical findings and treatment.
- Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, periodontal health, home care, and recommended preventive treatment.
- Collaborate closely with dentists and the clinical team to coordinate treatment and support continuity of care.
- Maintain applicable infection-control, OSHA, HIPAA, and bloodborne-pathogen standards.
