An established dental practice serving the Albuquerque-area market is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join a collaborative clinical team. The practice provides a steady flow of new and returning patients across a broad range of general dental needs. The incoming dentist will receive clinical and operational support while working alongside an established provider, hygiene, assistant, and administrative team. Position Details
- Employment Status: Full-Time
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Experience: New graduates welcome
- Provider Team: Established dentist support
- Hygiene Team: Established hygiene support
- Compensation: Competitive compensation under the practice’s standard dentist agreement; details discussed during the interview process
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school and an active New Mexico dental license in good standing, or be eligible to obtain one. Current BLS/CPR certification, strong communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care are required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of dental conditions involving the teeth, gums, and surrounding oral structures.
- Perform comprehensive examinations and develop evidence-based treatment plans using radiographs, clinical findings, and appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Provide preventive, restorative, and other general dental services consistent with training, experience, and patient needs.
- Clearly communicate treatment options and build trusted, long-term patient relationships.
- Collaborate with the clinical team and laboratory partners to support accurate, timely, and high-quality outcomes.
- Maintain applicable professional, OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and patient-safety standards.
