An established dental practice in the Springfield Metro Area is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join its clinical team. This opportunity offers an experienced provider and hygiene team, a four-day clinical schedule, and an environment well suited to a dentist interested in developing long-term relationships with patients and colleagues.
What We Offer
The incoming dentist will join a collaborative practice with two providers and six hygienists. The practice would prefer a dentist with several years of experience and has particular interest in candidates interested in sedation dentistry. A skilled and highly motivated new graduate may also be considered.
Position Details
- Employment Status: Full-Time
- Schedule: Approximately four days per week, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; final schedule to be discussed with the partner
- Experience: 2+ years preferred
- Provider Team: 2 providers
- Hygiene Team: 6 hygienists
- Clinical Interest: Interest in sedation dentistry is particularly attractive
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school and an active Illinois dental license, or be eligible to obtain one. Several years of clinical experience are preferred; however, the practice is willing to consider a skilled and driven recent graduate with strong potential for continued development.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general dental care based on individual patient needs.
- Perform examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide preventive, restorative, and other general dental services consistent with training and experience.
- Clearly communicate treatment recommendations and oral-health information to patients.
- Collaborate with the provider, hygiene, clinical, and administrative teams.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with patients and contribute to the continued success of the practice.
- Maintain applicable professional, patient-safety, infection-control, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
