An established dental practice serving the Springfield-area market is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join its clinical team. This opportunity offers a four-day workweek and is well suited to a dentist who values comprehensive care, professional collaboration, and long-term patient relationships.

The practice provides an established clinical environment with multiple providers and a strong hygiene team. The incoming dentist will have the opportunity to provide broad general dentistry while working within a collaborative team structure and maintaining a consistent four-day schedule.
Position Details
- Employment Status: Full-Time
- Schedule: Four days per week, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Experience: 1+ year preferred
- New Graduates: Strong new graduates will be considered
- Clinical Team: Two providers and four hygienists
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school and an active Illinois dental license, or be eligible to obtain one. The ideal candidate will bring sound clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and a commitment to ethical, patient-centered care. Dentists with at least one year of experience are preferred, although motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of general dental conditions.
- Perform comprehensive examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide preventive, restorative, and other general dental services consistent with training and patient needs.
- Clearly communicate treatment recommendations and build trusted patient relationships.
- Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, assistants, and administrative team members to support coordinated care.
- Maintain applicable professional, OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and patient-safety standards.
