An established dental practice serving the Tupelo-area market is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join a collaborative clinical team. The practice offers an established clinical setting with multiple doctors and a substantial hygiene team, providing the incoming dentist with experienced support and an existing patient-care infrastructure. The role offers a consistent full-time schedule and the opportunity to practice broad general dentistry while contributing to the continued success of the office.
Position Details
- Employment Status: Full-Time
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., plus at least one Saturday per month from 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
- Experience: Open
- Clinical Team: Established multi-doctor practice with a six-person hygiene team
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school and an active Mississippi dental license, or be eligible to obtain one. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of general dental conditions.
- Perform comprehensive examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide preventive, restorative, and other general dental services consistent with training and patient needs.
- Clearly communicate treatment recommendations and support long-term patient relationships.
- Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, assistants, and administrative team members to provide coordinated care.
- Maintain applicable professional, OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and patient-safety standards.
